This is the start of our four-month journey in eastern Europe going from south to north starting in Bucharest. We stayed four days in Old Town Bucharest taking tours and looking at the old/new buildings, then took a train to Brasov. Brasov has an old town with very walkable streets lined with shops. One of the tours was a city walk around the old city walls; another was to the town of Bran where Dracula was hiding. We toured his castle (Bran Castle) and Pele Castle and walked their grounds. Romanian has been the prettiest and most underrated county in Eastern Europe. A country that has so much to see and do with lots of history. We leave tonight for Budapest Hungry on a 13-hour overnight train, fun fun!
