We stayed four days each in Rijeka, Zadar and Split Croatia. All three cities are on the coast of Croatia, so Roman ruins were everywhere. In Rijeka we walked up the 500+ steps to see the castle, the view from the top was worth it. Of the three cities we enjoyed Split the most because of the cleanliness and the old town was maintained. Our AIRBNB was inside the walled city, so everything was walking distance.
