Buenos Aires and Mendoza, a fun time in South America

While in Buenos Aires we ate at Don Julio's steakhouse, it is ranked as the number one steakhouse in South America, YES it was very good. After leaving Buenos Aires we took an 18 hour bus ride to Mendoza Argentina. I enjoyed this city better than any other in South America.  We took a winery tour around Mendoza, we visited four different wineries testing 4 wines at each stop, at the end they tasted the same. (I wonder why??) There are over 1,000 wineries in Mendoza, they love their wine.

Another day we toured the Andes mountain range which runs all through South America, the best stop on this tour was the starting point for hikers going to Aconcagua (the highest mountain in the Andes).

Most of the time in Mendoza we took walking tours seeing all the cafes and bars.

Patagonia and Buenos Aires, a big city in the south

Our last week on the ship we had many ports. We saw Patagonia, rounded Cape Horn, went to the Falkland Islands and Uruguay, our first week in Buenos Aires we were sick and didn't get out except to go to the market.  After a week we changed our AIRBNB and started to get out to go sightseeing.
